Girlguiding New Forest Waterside Division

Warren Farm

Warren Farm Campsite is situated on land owned by Beaulieu Estates.  The use of the site was originally granted to the Guide Association in 1928 by Lord Montagu and for many years was administered by CHQ.  Eventually, the running of the site passed to South West Region and in 1999 was taken over by New Forest Waterside Division.

The land around the site is set aside as a bird sanctuary and there is access to a private beach from a gate in the lower field.

Access to the site is gained by travelling approximately 1 mile down a gravel track which has security gates.

Although the site is in a beautiful setting, it must be remembered that it offers very much back-to-basics camping.  There is no electricity, no flush toilets and only one water tap.  It is also fairly remote with the nearest shop about 4 miles away.

The site offers five separate camp sites each with a wooden shelter, toilet and wash cubicles.  Each shelter has two tables.  There is an alter fire with water bin.  Chemical toilets are supplied and the cost of hiring the site includes the cost of chemicals.

Wood is also supplied and included in the hiring cost.

From the site you can visit Bucklers Hard and Beaulieu.  Canoe with Liquid Logistics at Cracknell Hard, visit Foxlease or take a trip to Brownsea Island.  Paultons Park and Calshot Activity Centre are also fairly close by.

We can help with information on local coach companies, we have some camp equipment which is available for hire and we are at the end of a phone throughout your visit to help with any problems.

The charge for the site is £1.75 per person per night (2007/2008 rate)

Although the site is only available during the summer holidays, we can arrange visits to the site at other times.
